We welcome a wide array of users and customers here at Max Computing Services, including home users, business users. Some of our customers are harder on their Apple devices than others, and here are some common questions we hear when people call us or visit us in store.

Are iPads repairable?

iPads can suffer from all of the same ailments as iPhones and MacBooks – cracked screens, touch screen issues, and battery failure.

Unlike iPhones, we are unable to provide repair services on iPads, however we do offer like-for-like replacement services backed by Apple’s warranty. Learn more about Apple’s replacement policy here: https://www.maxcomputing.com.au/ipad-repair-replacement-service/

How difficult is it to replace a battery in an iPhone?

Battery replacements require the iPhone to be dismantled completely, which involves using specially designed tools and chemicals to dissolve the adhesives which hold your iPhone together.

Once the device is apart, we swap out the battery, being careful not to damage any other delicate components inside your iPhone.

Dismantling an iPhone (and most modern phones) destroys the adhesive seal in the process, so we also supply genuine Apple replacement seals and adhesives when reassembling your device, ensuring the fit and finish is as perfect as the day your iPhone left the factory, whilst restoring the water and dust sealing capabilities of your iPhone.
